Saharah Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a returning character from the GameCube entry in the series.

Longtime fans will remember this camel's visit from the original Animal Crossing game on the Nintendo GameCube. Her ever-changing policy on trade-ins per game and the unique wares she sells have made her an iconic special villager in the community. Her chances of visiting your town with her wallpaper wares are random.

[Life Advice] I think you'd enjoy yourself quite a bit if you take a moment to look around during an island stroll. Press up on the Right Stick to look up at the sky, or press down to direct your gaze downward. You never know what you might spy with your little eye, hm? pic.twitter.com/Iltm3bqIT4

Saharah Animal Crossing: New Horizons: Everything You Need to Know About the Camel

Saharah is a tan camel who wears a teal and yellow-embroidered vest. She has long eyelashes, brown tufts of hair on the top of her head, and a white belly and hooves. On her back, she carries a sack full of various wallpapers, flooring, and rugs that the player can obtain by speaking with her.

Originally, Saharah allowed the player to trade in their wallpapers and flooring (with a little monetary incentive) to Saharah in exchange for her unique items. Saharah's items couldn't be obtained anywhere else, so it was typically worth your while to trade.

This practice has changed as the games have progressed.

New Horizons lets the player earn exchange tickets for every certain amount of bells they spend with her. Players can buy rugs of various sizes which each corresponding to a certain amount of tickets. Small rugs give you one, medium gives two, and large gives three. At five tickets, the player can exchange for a mystery flooring or wallpaper.

In Wild World, she asks you to complete a certain amount of errands to her wares. In City Folk, she asks the player to go around finding carpets that can be obtained from other villagers. New Leaf has her offer to redecorate the player's wall and floor coverings for 3000 bells.

Saharah is Scorpio and her birthday is Nov. 10. She doesn't have a coffee preference. In the original Animal Crossing, Saharah spoke with a male villager's voice. This may be due to the fact that she is actually male in the Japanese version of the game.

Cranky villagers will remark that her accent is fake and that they've seen her do stand-up comedy without it.
