Splitgate fans are eager to know when they'll be able to get their hands on the full version of the game.

Of course, this won't happen until the developers decide to pull it out of beta, but it's never too early to start preparing. Given the game's massive popularity, there's been a ton of buzz concerning when the beta will end, when the game will be available to purchase, where it can be found, and how much it will cost.

Here's when you can pick up Splitgate in all its glory.

Splitgate Release Date for the Full Game

Fans will be able to get access to the full version of Splitgate later this month, August 2021, according to the latest estimates from the development team at 1047 Games.

Splitgate originally entered its beta in 2019 but, due to its massive explosion of popularity earlier this year, 1047 decided it would be best to delay its release and use the spike in user feedback to improve it before its official launch. This date was supposed to be July 27, but has since been given a vague "August" tag at best. They have still yet to drop the actual date and/or time at the time of writing.

Who knows? Maybe they'll decide to push it back a bit more.

While this may initially come off as disappointing, frustrating, or even a bit sketchy, it's worth noting that delays for game improvements are not uncommon. Amazon Games recently did the same with its MMORPG, New World. If a massive studio is putting in some extra time, then smaller studios will likely follow suit.

After all, no one want's a spiritual successor to Cyberpunk 2077's launch.
