Who voices Woody in Kingdom Hearts 3? The cowboy from Pixar's hit Toy Story franchise has been voiced by Tom Hanks in all his feature film appearances, but Tom Hanks has never voiced the character in a video game appearance, and this trend will continue with the Kingdom Hearts series.
Kingdom Hearts III is the recently-released sequel to 2005's Kingdom Hearts II and the final chapter in the Dark Seeker saga. The twelfth installment in the franchise sees protagonist Sora once again journey to various worlds based on Disney and Pixar properties and encounter their resident characters.
Many of these characters are voiced by their original actors stepping up once more behind the mic, such as Josh Gad for Frozen's Olaf and Susan Egan for Hercules' Megara. One of the most notable is James Wood again reprising his acclaimed role as Hades from Disney's Hercules.
Who Voices Woody in Kingdom Hearts 3?
Woody will be voiced by Jim Hanks, younger brother of Tom Hanks and responsible for almost all of Woody's appearances outside of the main feature films. Meanwhile, fellow Toy Story characters Hamm and Rex see their original voice actors of John Ratzenberger and Wallace Shawn respectively return in Kingdom Hearts III.
Buzz Lightyear will, like Woody, not be voiced by his original actor (in this case Tim Allen), but instead by Mike MacRae.
