Can I Move My House in Animal Crossing: New Horizons? As one of the more common questions in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you would think the game would tell you yourself.
Nintendo, in their infinite wisdom, foresaw this and decided to give players the answer they were seeking. Yes, you can move your house after placing it on your island. It can be extremely difficult to figure out exactly where you'd like all the buildings to go in your town on your first try--especially so if this is your first time playing.

You'll have to wait until Resident Services is done moving into their new building. This happens around the ten-day mark—after players have three new villagers move into their town for a total of five. They will also have needed to build the museum, a bridge, and Nook's Cranny.
Additionally, acquiring a new Resident Services building just so happens to be when Isabelle moves into your town. Even if you're satisfied with your placement, getting to hang out with Isabelle again is a nice reward in and of itself.
Once the new Resident Services is complete, head inside to talk to your landlord, Tom Nook. A few options will pop up. Select "About my home" and, from there, you can ask him to relocate your housing plot. You'll be given a building kit and asked to set the plot for your home in-game.
Player housing relocations cost 30,000 bells each time. You should find your home moved successfully the very next day.
