How to Get the Darkrai Mystery Gift
Darkrai's Mystery Gift item is called the "Member Card." Trainers can get one by redeeming the Mystery Gift option through the Internet between April 1 and May 1, 2022. If done correctly, the item will be credited to their inventory immediately.
To use the card, trainers will have had to defeat the Elite Four and Champion, Cynthia, made it into the Hall of Fame, and received the National Dex.
According to the official Nintendo blog, with the above conditions met, "players will be able to go to Newmoon Island, where the Mythical Pokémon Darkrai can be found."
To use the card, trainers need to head to Canalave City. They can use it to gain entry to the locked Inn where they'll find a mysterious individual who throws them into a nightmare. Trainers will wake up on Newmoon Island with the only escape being to battle Darkrai. Should they defeat it, they can revisit the Island to find it awaiting their return.
