How to Change Your Name in Overwatch

First things first, players need to log into their Blizzard account. Next, select account details. After, scroll to the BattleTag section and select Update. Then, change the name; if the username is available at the moment. Finally, select change for your Battletag username. These steps are very simple to change outside of Overwatch since the game uses Battle.net to give users their unique number codes to send friend requests for others to add.

Battle.net keeps usernames organized so players can add new friends, report any issues on their login information, or keep a report on tickets submitted through Blizzard's servers. Keep in mind, Blizzard allows you to change this tag once for free. After that, you're charged a change fee, which is currently $10 per BattleTag change.

For more information, check out Blizzard's website for more information.
