Naku Weed is a type of plant introduced to Genshin Impact with the Inazuma update. As an Inazuma local specialty, you'll come across it as you venture across the new region, but it may sometimes be difficult to find when you need it. Here is a guide to the best Naku Weed locations.
Currently, no characters use Naku Weed to ascend, but because local specialties are always used to ascend characters of that region, it's only a matter of time before miHoYo introduces a new Inazuma character that uses them. The "Treatment on the Island" World Quest also requires you to gather 12 Naku Weeds, so it's a good idea to start collecting them.

Genshin Impact Naku Weed Location Guide
You can find Naku Weeds on all three islands of Inazuma that are currently available. Here are the locations with the most Naku Weeds on each island.
1. Near the Grand Narukami Shrine
On Narukami Island, you'll find lots of Naku Weed around the mountains where the Grand Narukami Shrine is located. Most of them are gathered in the valley between the two mountains.
2. Around Tatarasuna
In Kannazuka, look around the land surrounding Tatarasuna. This region won't be accessible before you accept the Tatara Tales World Quest, though, so head to the Kujou Encampment to begin that quest first if you want to explore this area.
3. Around Musoujin Gorge and Jakotsu Mine
On Yashiori Island, there are two locations where you can find Naku Weeds. One is along the river near the Musoujin Gorge, which happens to be where you can receive the "Treatment on the Island" quest. Another is around Jakotsu Mine.
Keep in mind you can also purchase five Naku Weeds from Aoi in Inazuma City. Naku Weeds won't be the easiest material to farm, but gathering them will pay off when you're looking to ascend the latest Inazuma characters.
For now, check out our guide on how to get Sakura Blooms to ascend Ayaka, the latest Inazuman 5-star character. In a few weeks, she'll make way for Yoimiya and Sayu, two more additions to the Inazuma roster.
