Elden Ring update 1.04 hit the game Friday, adding offering some minor bug fixes for those roaming the Lands Between.

You will have to apply this update if you want to keep playing the game in online mode, but that should not be an issue as the patch is less than a gigabyte small. As such, here's a breakdown of the update 1.04 patch notes for Elden Ring.

Elden Ring Update 1.003.001 Patch Notes

Ultimately, considering the major 1.03 patch FromSoftware just released for the game earlier this week on Wednesday, this is not a very important update at all, nor should it likely have been expected to be.

The 1.04 Elden Ring update is just 98 MB on PlayStation, 14 MB on Steam and 600 MB on Xbox.

Unfortunately, there aren't any official patch notes from FromSoftware on this update just yet.

According to the update history on the PS4 (H/T MP1st), however, this patch was doled out in order to address some in-game errors related to text.

As such, hopefully, FromSoftware will be able to release a patch soon to address some of the lingering PC stuttering and performance bugs, as well as the Steam cloud lost progress error.

Elden Ring is available now for PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC (via Steam).
