Here is how to get Shiny Infernape in Pokémon GO.
Players will be able to get hands on a Shiny Infernape by evolving a Shiny Chimchar that will appear more frequently during November's Community Day, which will feature the Chimp Pokémon. The event will take place on Nov. 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m, local time.
During the event, Chimchar will appear in a more frequent rate, along with a boosted chance of encountering the Chimp Pokémon's shiny form. In order to get a shiny Infernape, players must catch enough Chimchars to gather enough Chimchar candy to evolve a shiny Chimchar first to Monferno (25 candy), and then its final evolution, Infernape (100 candy).
Infernape's shiny variant has magenta skin and redder flames than its normal style.
Like other Community Days, participants will have the added bonus with lures having an increased duration, lasting for three hours instead of 30 minutes, and eggs hatching four times faster than usual.
Chimchar will most likely have exclusive move if caught on Community Day, but Niantic has yet to confirm which move Chimchar and it's evolution Infernape will have. It is expected that it will be Blast Burn, a powerful fire-type move that other fire-type starters learned on their very own Community Days.
