Sylvana in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a normal squirrel villager known best for her previous appearance in New Leaf. However, she was also featured in the Japan-exclusive update for GameCube title, Animal Forest, known as Dōbutsu no Mori e+ or Animal Forest e+.

Visually, Sylvana is a white and tan squirrel who looks quite similar to a ferret—due to her tan ferret-like face mask marking. Her body and ears are that same tan that fades to a darker brown at the paws and tips. She was dark chocolate-brown eyes, an orange button nose, and purple inner-ears. Her tail features a white squiggle in the typical squirrel-villager fashion. Surprisingly, her eyelids are actually a sunny yellow.

Sylvana Animal Crossing: New Horizons

When the player first meets her, Sylvana will likely be wearing a Kiwi shirt or tank. Her personality type is Normal, which means she gets along with every other personality type except Uchi and Cranky. Players can see her roaming about at 6 a.m. She is reportedly easier to befriend than most.

In New Horizons, her house is styled as a picnic setting. She has an affinity for the Cherry Blossom set as most of the items in her home come from it—including the wallpaper and flooring. A colorful picnic blanket is spread across the floor and on top of it are several picnic-themed furnishings such as the Picnic basket and Bamboo lunchbox.
