Magmortar in Pokemon GO has a moveset of a variety of types, duetting with its November Community Day counterpart, Electrivire. Niantic Labs recently featured Magmar as part of its on-going Community Day feature. On Nov. 21, trainers were able to encounter this fire-type at a dramatically increased rate than normal. Additionally, its pre-evolved form, Magby, was slated to hatch from 2 k.m. eggs exclusively for the duration of the event. Trainers who chose to evolve their captured Magmar during or two hours post-programming received another surprise—Magmortar had Thunderbolt as its charged move.
